Hardwired Gaming has partnered up with a couple of gaming stores to bring you its first Call of Duty:MW3 tournament in Santa Cruz, California. It will be held next week, Saturday, August 18, at the Mythic Games store and sponsored by Level Up Video Games. Both Mythic and Level Up are located in downtown Santa Cruz at the Pacific Garden Mall and have been a big supporter of eSport and MTG.
We’re inviting all CoD:MW3 fans to come out and show your support of eSports by entering the 2v2 tournament and get a chance to win some cash and KontrolFreek sticks. The price for entry is only $10 dollars but you could sign up in advance at the Mythic Store for $8 bucks. Spectators are free.
Astro Gaming is a major sponsor and partner of Hardwired Gaming and is providing headsets for gamers to use during the competition (Have you seen the new Astro A50s yet?) and KontrolFreek is an official partner of Hardwired Gaming and is providing controller sticks as prizes.
Of course, if you live in the Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay area, you need to stop by the Mythic Games store for all of your Magic the Gathering cards and tournaments (they have one every Saturday around noonish). And also, visit Level Up Video Games and check out their well-stocked inventory of new and old school games – it’s the best around!
